sundays

the basics

Our services are at 10.45am and 6pm.

You are welcome to join us for either or both. We meet to worship God and to encourage each other. The service usually consists of four or five songs, readings from the Bible, times of public prayer and a sermon of about thirty minutes.

what to expect

You will not be asked for any money! You won't be asked to do anything, and you don't need to be a Christian to come. We don't have a dress code - most people wear smart casual clothing. Refreshments are served after the morning service.

Both services last for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. In the morning there is a children's talk. There are children's activity sheets provided for use during the sermon. There is a room with a loud speaker for carers with younger children/babies.

Disabled access is via the side door down the path next to the building and there are toilets with disabled access off the front foyer.

In case you're interested, we use the NIV 2011 Bible and we sing from New Christian Hymns, our own song supplement and projected songs that haven't made it into the supplement yet! (Check out some of the new songs we sing, under the 'About us' tab.)

The Lord's supper

The Lord's supper (sometimes also called 'The Lord's table' or 'Communion') is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of the month at 4pm and on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 9.45am. Taking the Lord's supper is open to members of our church, together with occasional visitors who are believers, who have been baptised (immersed) as believers and who belong in faithful, committed membership to another gospel church. All are welcome to observe.
