safeguarding

Warboys Baptist Church (WBC) regards the safeguarding and protection of children as a priority. Following national guidance from the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS), we do all we can to ensure the safety of children in a variety of ways:

We have a safeguarding co-ordinator who is responsible for dealing with any child protection concerns and the things we need to do to keep children safe.

We have a policy in place which covers all areas of safeguarding and good working practice (available to view on request).

We have a safe recruitment process for workers, volunteers and leaders. This requires anyone working with children to undergo a Criminal Records Check, ensuring that as parents and carers, you can have confidence in the people looking after your children.
